Miraggio introduced its A/W ’26 collection, marking the beginning of a brand-new era
SUMMARY
Miraggio is considered to be one of the fastest-growing accessories brands in India. Miraggio has launched the A/W ’26 collection, marking an important milestone in the development of the brand. This offering is not only a traditional seasonal release, but also a whole new chapter in Miraggio’s design language. The new collection features unique cutlines, signature metal hardware, and a sophisticated selection of colours that have brought the modern woman’s wardrobe to a higher level.
Philosophy and expert collaboration
The core concept of the A/W ’26 collection lies in the exploration of the delicate balance between neutrality and personal touch. The world around the collection is designed around balance, restraint, and the boundaries of black, white, and grey. This structured baseline is not questioned; rather, the collection finds its balance in this structured baseline.
The color palette includes black, white, and gray, lending an inherent sense of calm and structure, yet accentuated with rich hues for a personal individuality in every silhouette. There is a sense of natural harmony between these contrasting elements such that one provides meaning for another.
The focus on balance carries over directly to the collection’s signature hardware particulars. The flower is used as a brand-new symbol that unites the structural and slightly soft aspects into one identifying element; a metal flower has been added as a new component. A sophisticated ring feature offers a quiet statement to be memorable.
These elements create a visual identity that is identifiable, considered, and uniquely Miraggio. Balance is a key design principle and a part of everyday life, with no point made too loud to get attention or not loud enough to catch the eye.
The collection was conceptualized together with Korea’s creative director Ying Ying Yang, who worked extensively in Seoul to create the designs from the ground up and supervise the technical manufacturing.
Ying Ying Yang has a deep background in the collection, having studied at the Parsons School of Design in New York, majoring in Product Design. She has interned in a variety of interior design spaces, an industrial design studio, and within the bag design team at Marc Jacobs.
For many years, she worked for Tory Burch as a leather goods designer, handling handbags, wallets, belts, bag charms, cosmetic bags, and phone cases, among other items, before starting her own design consulting practice.
Ying Ying Yang’s design principles are grounded in the balance between function and play. The designer said one of the steps was asking herself what the Miraggio girl is and what she is not.
Taking time in Seoul allowed her to develop the ideas slowly, leading to the creation of the first pictorial mark Miraggio has ever built an entire collection around. This kind of result is a versatile portfolio designed for a girl who will not stay limited to one identity.
Product Portfolio and strategic expansion
The extensive A/W ’26 collection spreads its 132 pieces across a well-thought-out price range, roughly between ₹4,000 and ₹8,000. The assembly underscores the DNA of Miraggio in rendering a completely global-minded design that is really accessible to contemporary Indian women.
Some of the key items in the collection include the Sakura Crossbody. The bag is priced at ₹5,499. There are three color choices for the bag, namely Beige, Ivory, and Black. The Kitty Shoulder Bag costs ₹4,999. The color choices are Black, Silver, Pink, Green, and even Brown.
The Caitlin Crossbody Bag comes in Black, Silver, Pink, Green, and Brown at Rs. 4,499 and adds a subtle statement touch with floral details for a sophisticated evening look. The idea behind Miraggio was born in 2019 as a direct observation made by its Founder and CEO, Mohit Jain – Indian women were often stuck between basic mass-market bags and luxury brands that cost a fortune. To fill that gap, Miraggio rose to meet it by combining functionality, design, and premium-priced accessibility.
According to Mohit Jain, the A/W ‘26 collection reveals Miraggio’s long-term vision by transforming the brand from basic handbag makers to a design-driven brand with a strong personality that places it among global brands.
The year 2026 saw the company in a phase of transformation with its growing presence in a wider lifestyle world. In April of 2026, Miraggio introduced a backpack line named Get Your Back, featuring structured shapes, ergonomic straps, and laptop bags.
In late July 2026, the brand unveiled Made to Move, an active lifestyle line that debuted with the women’s wellness movement Sweat Like A Girl. In addition to the product expansion, Miraggio is developing a physical store network.
To be followed by the first independent shop at VR Mall, Chennai, in May 2026 and the second at Inorbit Mall, Vashi, in August 2026, a third shop will open in September 2026 at Westend Mall, Pune, with a target of 10 or more company-operated stores by March 2027.
Conclusion
The A/W ’26 collection marks another pivotal moment in Miraggio’s strategic transition from a digital-first handbag brand to a design-centric lifestyle brand. The brand has been reinforcing expectations in the Indian accessories market by combining international design prowess with signature hardware designs, a wider range of products, and an increased physical footprint.
With a defined visual identity and a readily attainable premium positioning, Miraggio is poised to carry out its mission to provide techno-packaged products that are perfect for modern-day Indian women.
