Bhanzu is an online math learning service offering platform that secured 16.5 million USD in its ongoing series B funding round from Epiq Capital and Z3 partners. This marks the third funding round for this edtech startup. The round saw the participation of several investors, including Eight Roads and Lightspeed Ventures. 

The company plans to use these fresh proceeds to scale its operations, enhance its platform, expand its network, and increase its customer base. The Hyderabad-based startup uses advanced technology to offer a seamless user experience. The startup faces competition from other online learning platforms in the edtech sector including Unacademy, Cuemath, and Skillmatics.

The edtech startup intends to use this investment to improve its performing capability and market presence. The company provides an online platform with experiential math learning courses that enable cognitive abilities among students from 5 to 16 years old. The development came after the edtech sector saw increased investor interest. The platform claims to have trained over 30,000 students through its online courses. 

The startup provides a digital platform with courses in basic math operations, spatial analysis, geometry, and more. The company offers a platform to help individuals with educational purposes, with features like games, certificates, and progress reports. The startup allows students to build business models and explore data science. The company has raised around 33 million USD across multiple funding rounds since its inception, including $15 million secured during its series A funding round from Lightspeed India and other investors. The Hyderabad-based startup uses advanced technology to provide its users with the best learning experience. The company posted a 13 times increase in its operating revenue to Rs 47.33 crore in FY23. The net loss also increased by 18 times and stood at Rs 70.99 crore in the same duration. Indian startup ecosystem saw increased investor interest in the edtech sector.

The edtech startup aims to strengthen its position in the edtech sector. The company offers its services in India, the Middle East, the UK, and the US. The firm claims to have achieved 8 times growth since its last funding round, positive cash flow, and strong product market fit across the edtech market.  The data intelligence platform, tracxn mentioned that the annual revenue of Bhanzu is around Rs 51.3 lakh as of March 31, 2023.
