Among cleantech startups, Yotuh Energy Private Limited may be considered exceptional. Being part of IIT Madras Incubation Cell, it is an innovative electrification company for mid and last-mile electric vehicle refrigeration systems for cold chain logistics. Yotuh Energy was founded in April 2022 by three IIT Delhi graduates, Vivek Mahindrakar, Shaivee Malik, and Dharmik Bapodara. They also supported this funding round, which is significant in this context. The ₹1.53 crore will help Yotuh Energy to enhance its products, conduct the necessary tests and experiments, manage its operations, and increase its team size. It has received grants and awards from the Ministry of Agriculture, DST, MeitY, Acumen, ACIR (US Embassy in India), IIT Madras Incubation Cell, and Daimler India Commercial Vehicles have invested in Yotuh Energy.

Yotuh Energy improves its exclusive adaptive control enhancement system. They used no fuel and cut numerous operational costs when they developed the first electric refrigeration systems and contributed toward making the industry shift toward environmentally friendly alternatives. Santha’s solutions guarantee the improvement of cold chain logistics by increasing productivity while reducing costs and environmental impact. 

Notable Supporters of Yotuh Energy

According to Chandran Krishnan, the Managing Director and CEO of Campus Angels Network, Yotuh Energy has electric refrigeration systems that will bring significant changes to the market. Vinod Dasari, the former MD of Ashok Leyland and previous CEO of Royal Enfield also distinguishes Yotuh Energy’s direction in supporting efficiency and sustainability as crucial to the game.
