2.Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur
The college is situated at a distance of about 120 kilometres to the west of Kolkata. It was the initial of the IITs to be set by the government of India in 1951. 3.Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur
Situated in the village of Kalyanpur in Kanpur district and formed in the year 1959, IIT Kanpur has a whole extent of about 1000 acres.
