SooperpoP A Mixed Reality Portal
Art of expressing ideas in advanced forms makes us humans. To express ideas we use text, speech, image, video and now AR/VR. Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality was invented in 1990 but it was since 2015, that it became commercial. With the zeal to make AR/VR a mainstream media, Ankit Patel and Sanket Kale have set foot on a journey that will revolutionize the way we express ideas and entertain ourselves.
” The entrepreneurial journey of Ankit Patel and Sanket Kale started from the day they met at a substitute gym in November 2014. Ankit had some mobile application project ideas and was looking for somebody to understand and execute it. Fate introduced them to each other and in July 2015 they founded Trium Designs Pvt. Ltd. to bring their ideas to life. Now while working together on a Big Data project, they wanted to display products in 3D, right in front of the user in a mobile application. Ankit, from his research, came across Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality. Continuing his research, Ankit saw a void of commercialization of media content in AR and VR. Looking at the ocean of opportunities, Ankit convinced Sanket to dig deep and then through months of research, tea and programming; they came up with a solution for it naming it SooperpoP“, says The Founding Team of Sooperpop.
SooperpoP is a location-based Mixed Reality Media Portal where users can view, creative AR/VR/MR media content uploaded by users from around the globe. 3D animated Media content to entertain, educate, create social awareness, showcase product and/or services, etc. can be viewed in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and can be shared with just one click to all social media platforms from the SooperpoP’s mobile application.
With the onset of any journey, challenges always await to charge. According to Sanket, their journey has given them experiences that they had never dreamt of. But Ankit always said, a person with interest is a Genius and only Geniuses have the power to change the world.
Ankit and Sanket say that Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality lacked awareness due its reach in only a few devices, and so they have designed and developed SooperpoP such that every smartphone having some basic sensors can play AR/VR content in their smartphones through our application. To use SooperpoP, no AR kit or external hardware is needed. SooperpoP is now your one-stop shop for all AR and VR needs. Getting a lot of appreciation in Sayaji Startup Summit 2018 in Vadodara, SooperpoP stood amongst the top showcase projects of the event. Ankit and Sanket are now actively seeking funds for optimizing and maintaining the project from technological visionary investors and investment firms. Alongside they are working on creating awareness about Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and at the same time teaching the world how to make best out of the platform.
When and how did you start?

Brief about the organization and founding members
For the first few months after we met, we started our operations at a friend’s cafe on a reserved table with plugs for our laptops. We then founded Trium Designs Pvt. Ltd. in July 2015 with the help of an NRI seed investor Mr. Pankaj Patel.

About funding, plans for growth

Challenges and Opportunities/ Marketing Strategies
The biggest challenge SooperpoP faces are of awareness on Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality and we aim at eradicating that the first. SooperpoP will create demand for 3D – AR and VR content. In turn creating more jobs for 3D artists, 3D animators, 3d Illustrators, Sculptors, 3D Modeling artists, graphic designers, Lighting, Camera, Matte painters, 3D content creators, Media managers and more. As SooperpoP is an online platform, we have designed it to be easily penetrable from all social media platform. Sharing SooperpoP content is as easy as a button click.
Future plans and funding
With a lot of exciting features on the platform in the queue, we are looking forward to a aggressive growth and leading aggregator level firm in the next 5 years.
