Named ChatGPT Team, this plan features administrative functionalities tailored for team management and provides an exclusive workspace accommodating teams comprising up to 149 ChatGPT users. The most recent models from OpenAI, including GPT-4 (which generates text), GPT-4 with Vision (which recognizes images in addition to words), and DALL-E 3 (which creates images), are available to all users in a ChatGPT Team. Additionally, ChatGPT may analyze, edit, and extract information from submitted files with the help of these tools.
Teams can also create and distribute GPTs or personalized applications using ChatGPT Team, built on OpenAI’s text-generating AI models. GPTs can be as simple or complex as needed and don’t require any prior coding knowledge. For instance, a GPT may consume private codebases from businesses so that developers can review their style or produce code that adheres to best practices.
Additionally, OpenAI promises that ChatGPT Team users will receive future updates with unidentified additions and enhancements and that team data and discussions will not be used to train its models.
The monthly cost of ChatGPT Team is $30 per user or $25 per user when invoiced annually; this is more expensive than the $20 monthly cost of ChatGPT Plus, OpenAI’s individual premium ChatGPT plan. However, ChatGPT Team is far less costly than ChatGPT Enterprise, which may cost up to $60 per user each month with a 12-month contract and a minimum of 150 members.
ChatGPT Team appears specifically designed for small- and medium-sized business users who desire team-focused ChatGPT functionalities without having to shell out a lot of money. That will likely be a lucrative field; according to a recent ResumeBuilder survey, 49% of businesses use ChatGPT for use cases like coding, producing content like interview questions and job descriptions, and summarizing meetings and documents. Additionally, 30% of businesses plan to use ChatGPT in the future.
The launch of OpenAI’s ChatGPT subscription, designed for small teams, represents a significant milestone in promoting inclusive, cooperative, and effective communication. Through AI-powered conversational technology, this program offers the potential for increased efficiency, smoother operational processes, and improved team interactions. Its tailored approach for small teams underscores its dedication to making state-of-the-art AI tools more accessible, empowering businesses of varying scales to utilize advanced language models for their development and prosperity. As businesses actively seek inventive approaches, the specialized ChatGPT subscription for small teams is a move toward cultivating a more cohesive, adaptable, and efficient workspace.
