When and how did you start?

 ” We started in December 2016. We share the same vision of creating something new and solving a problem that is not yet solved the way it should be. We are all from small cities in the hinterland with more or less similar background and upbringing resulting in somewhat similar sensibilities. We understand and appreciate each other’s strengths and capabilities and complement one another. We all have the urge and the hunger to succeed and our definition of success is defined by the impact of our offering to the lives of people “, Says Ruben Ghosh –Founder/CEO of Myrsa.

 How did you come up with the idea? Your inspiration moment

All over the world, cities and villages are filled with buildings, houses, offices, housing complexes, schools, hotels, event halls, cinemas, sports stadiums, community centers, etc… All with their own purpose and goal. However, most of the time they remain unused, parks attracting fewer people, community centers that are used a few times per year, Unused open and available spaces In short: a lot of space is currently underused or not used at all. We believe we should be more responsible with the usage of our spaces. Our mission is to facilitate the responsible and productive use of all kinds of physical unused spaces.

 Brief about the organization and founding members

Myrsa is a platform that connects renters and lenders of temporary spaces. On our platform, Tenants (renters) can easily specify their space request while the Owners (lenders) can offer any of their (empty) spaces for temporary rental. Myrsa helps businesses, service providers, retailers, brands, event managers or startups to find the temporary physical space they need to sell, serve and grow.

Ruben Ghosh –Founder/CEO

He has done B.E and M.B.A in Finance from NMIMS  and a Seasoned executive with over 15 years experience in operations, sales, marketing, finance & project management across multiple industries- Banking, I.T, Services, Telecom, Education, Assessments.

Kaneesh Dua- Co-Founder/CTO

He is M.C.A  Graduate with 13 years of IT experience in Java & Oracle PL/SQL with strong working experience with Agile; waterfall and prototyping development models.  Expert in Project management, ETL Processes, Automation, Data Models, Trading & Risk Management Domain and Front-Office Desk Projects.

Shreya Ghosh- Co-Founder/CPO

She has Completed B.E & M.Tech in IT from B.I.T.S Pilani and a talented coder with over 5 years of Working experience in multiple technologies like ASP.NET, C#, MVC, Entity Framework, Javascript Framework, AngularJs, NodeJs, MongoDB, Oracle 10G & SQL Server.

We know the difficulties faced by brands, service providers or professionals to find the right physical space to sell products and services, create awareness, test locations or have a professional work-space to market their product or service. Our goal is to make the world of physical spaces as accessible and flexible as the virtual world.


We are committed to enabling a more efficient use of physical spaces. There are thousands of buildings, infrastructure spaces and vacant real estate areas that are unused or underutilized and not easily accessible due to fixed contracts, long-term commitments and many other barriers and conditions.
We believe that short-term renting can be a solution for space owners and brands, businesses, service providers and entrepreneurs looking for renting and hiring temporary spaces to launch new ventures, shops, services or events.

 About funding, plans on growth

 We are currently completely bootstrapped and are at a pre-revenue stage.

 Challenges and Opportunities/ Marketing Strategies

Our platform is live and we are in the process of ironing out the process issues from the customer experience perspective. We are in the inventory building phase where we are on-boarding and registering and listing spaces/inventory. This process is 100% digitally driven.

Future plans and funding

 The Key Metrics we are pursuing are:-

  •  CUSTOMERS: New signups & Registrations / mo
  • MONETIZATION: Monthly repeat revenue
  • ENGAGEMENT: Monthly Average Users

As our business scales, revenues will move non linearly to costs.

India is a country where wastage and encroachment without compensation are rampant. Both of these aspects can be addressed. Indian retail and last mile service are going to be a $ 2 Trillion sector with only 1 % of it being delivered online today. The potential for facilitating this commerce with a margin of 1% gives us a $2 Billion Opportunity. No country has the demographics, population, and growth in consumption like India. In fact, we wish to go global once we prove ourselves in India with this business model.
