On the 16th of December, Microsoft revealed the preview of the premium feature powered by AI for Microsoft Team, and it is now accessible for commercial clients. The deployment for December was announced by the technology giant in October during the Ignite event in 2022.

According to a blog post published by the firm, “Today, we are thrilled to announce that we are making Microsoft Teams Premium publicly accessible for preview as a restricted trial for our commercial customers via the Microsoft 365 admin centre.”

The recently released premium edition of Microsoft Teams, which is driven by artificial intelligence (AI), offers a free 30-day demo that includes personalization options, AI capability, and security settings for the standard version of Microsoft’s video conferencing platform.

In addition, this demonstration illustrates the capabilities of live translations, intelligent meeting recaps, and end-to-end encryption for meetings, which together ensure the highest level of data protection.

In a blog post, the business stated that Teams Premium includes advanced webinar options such as a custom logo, manual approvals, registration waitlists, registration dates and time limits, presenter profiles, and a virtual green room.

According to the research, “In B2C environments, Teams Premium helps customers manage advanced virtual appointments by giving them SMS notifications, branded lobbies, scheduled and on-demand appointment queues, and analytics.”

Go to the Microsoft 365 admin centre, then navigate to the section labelled “Purchase Services,” and you will be able to test out the 25 free licence trial for a period of 30 days. In the area titled “Collaboration and communication,” select the “Teams Premium” option.

The previously indicated recap meetings and individualised meeting branding will be implemented between now and January of the following year. According to the information provided by the corporation, the new service will become broadly available in February 2023 and will cost $10 per user each month.
