We all know the importance of language in communication. But everyone does not know all the languages, right?
Well, whether you are an individual or a company, language barriers can stop you from growing in any given field. In such scenarios, a translator is useful to communicate.
In this article, we will look into the journey of Linguidoor and the insights shared by Rishi Anand, the Founder of Linguidoor. Let’s dive in!
When and how did you start?
In 2017, Linguidoor was founded. Although globalization has opened avenues for expansion and exchange among countries, language still remains a barrier to expression. We aimed to remove that barrier and ease the communication process by eliminating the gaps through our efficient and 24*7 available services in the field of translation. This will also facilitate companies to go global and expand their product or services.
The company’s name Linguidoor includes two words: Lingui (linguistic) and door.
What was your inspirational moment for this business idea?
Language has always been one of the most empowering as well as the most limiting factor for businesses. On one hand, it stems a sense of understanding and enables you to reach out to customers and, subsequently, convert them.
However, on the other hand, diversity can be a barrier to communication. In order to tackle this limitation, business professionals have always been on the lookout for a solution that enables them to get past this barrier.
About the organization and founding members
When we started out, Rishi Anand, Founder & CEO, was the only one working in the company. Along with a full-time job, he was working on his dream company all alone. His hard work, dedication, and optimistic approach showed positive results and his dream to provide a platform for freelance translation and content creators to work became a reality.
Currently, the company has 2000+ language experts in 65+ languages from across the globe working with him.
About funding
Rishi, the Founder & CEO of Linguidoor, says that he started the company out of his passion and had no clue about the funding part. So, they never really got any funding or sponsorship. Rishi never believed in credit and he always tried to do things for a small amount of money.
He worked on his full-time job alongside his business and saved up to invest in the business.
Linguidoor’s business model: In-house team or third-party vendors/outsourcing?
We do all the marketing activities in such a way that when a need arises, Linguidoor Translation Services comes to mind first.

We are in a digital era. So initially our focus is to attract clients through digital marketing. We have four main marketing strategies to gain new clients and projects:

What is the budget range of your projects?
The range is very flexible and big. At Linguidoor, we have no such criteria for the minimum requirement. We strongly believe in solving the problems of our clients and provide services on clients’ budgets as we respect our clients’ pockets.
For instance, in 2020, our minimum budget project was USD 2. We take care of all the queries and requirements of our clients.
Approach followed by the company to ensure client satisfaction
At Linguidoor, we follow a very customer-centric approach. We continuously take measures to provide high-quality, accurate, and timely translation services. We make use of various CAT and CAD tools and most importantly the 6 eyes principle. The 6 eyes principle means that a translation is reviewed and proofread by two other linguists to ensure the quality of the translated document.
Our priority has always been providing error-free and timely services to our clients. For client relationship management, we assign a dedicated project/ account manager to each customer so that they are available for client requirements whenever they require.
Sneak-peek into the day-to-day activities of the Founder of Linguidoor
Apart from conceptualization of the overall strategic decisions, I am also deeply involved in the day-to-day operations of the company. My normal day at work would be attending client meetings, exploring opportunities for collaboration, supervising the staffing needs, sales forecast, branding & digital presence, and others.
Other than this, I represent Linguidoor at different platforms such as meetups, events, trade fairs, job fairs, webinars, speaking platforms, interviews, etc.
Future Plans
In the coming years, our goal is to grow to become one of the fastest and best providers of translation services in Europe with high efficiency. Linguidoor will become a platform that helps businesses globally, to grow by being understood.
Rishi Anand, the founder of Linguidoor, says,
“On a personal front, I wish to make ‘language’ an opportunity for everyone, not a barrier. I strive to see a future, where anyone can communicate candidly, and convey their message in the way they want with ease, in any language.”
Also, we have a cloud-based software called Automated. This software helps to automate the business processes of small and medium-sized translation companies and is also a dream project of ours.
A Message From the Founder
“Just follow your dreams and don’t listen to anyone, no one. Only you know what you are capable of doing. Just make your vision clear, give your best, and follow your process. “Start small and go bigger.”
