Several well-known hotel brands are establishing their branches in Ayodhya, and more than 50 major hotel construction projects have been underway here, as per official sources.
Ayodhya has become a new destination for the hotel industry because many small hotels, resorts, and homestays invest in that region. Moreover, improved highways and roads and wall paintings that capture the life of Lord Ram are some elements contributing to Ayodhya’s allure.
Divisional Commissioner of Ayodhya Gaurav Dayal stated that in the Global investment summit, intent agreements worth roughly Rs 18000 Cr were put up for tourism projects in Ayodhya.
After the GIS, several entrepreneurs offered their suggestions to the government and district administration for investment in Ayodhya’s tourism sector. Today, 126 tourism-related undertakings in Ayodhya can be implemented immediately. Of 126 projects, there are MOUs for 46 while non-MOU related in 80. These 126 projects together cost approximately Rs.4000 crores.
Dayal mentioned that about 50 major hotels have entered the Ayodhya for wide-ranging projects, and their buildings are being built. Taj, Marriott, Ginger, Oberoi, Trident, and Radisson hotels will soon be fully commissioned.
The ‘Raja Ki Building’ is proposed to be developed as a heritage hotel, with one of the major hotels ready to invest in this venture. Besides these, many small and large hotels will also start their business in the Ayodhya region. These hotels will provide accommodation facilities for many devotees and visitors coming to Ayodhya.
The hotel sector is poised to receive an investment amounting to approximately Rs 420 crore through the four large projects that are going on in Ayodhya. The first is Panche Dreamworld LLP, which will develop the ‘O Rama Hotels and Resorts’ project at a total amount of Rs 140 crore.
For Rs 100 crore, Innovators Digital Ads Pvt Ltd will build Solitaire Ayodhyaamordha Hotelora, the cost of setting up Shri Ramya Hotel by Evergreen Infrastructure is pegged at Rs 90 crore, and Vishranti Graheof Samruddhi Swastik Trading and Investment will set up the ‘Vishranti Grah’ at an investment of Rs 86 crore.
