Brand operations and financial performance

Gramiyaa was established in 2016 by Sibi Manivannan, who is a dedicated brand of cold-pressed oils and produces the entire range independently with traditional oil-making methods.

The direct-to-consumer brand has a wide range of essential cooking oils like groundnut oil, coconut oil, sesame oil, mustard oil, etc and specific brands like virgin coconut oil and virgin olive oil.

Gramiyaa sells its products through its website as well as has a robust online presence on platforms such as Amazon, Blinkit, Zepto, Instamart, BigBasket, DMart Ready, and FirstClub, among others.

Gramiyaa continues to scale up its footprint and enjoys considerable growth in its Top Line. The company hasn’t reported its official financial statements for the year FY26 yet, but the financial performance for FY25 reported a significant year-on-year revenue increase of 72.7% to ₹19 crore. The brand’s losses also saw an upward surge, going up by almost 12.7X in the same period to ₹4 crore in FY25, as operational expenses increased during the period.

Conclusion

Gramiyaa’s completion of the ₹18.65 crore Series A fundraise marks a significant milestone in advancing its growth trajectory within the cold-pressed oil industry. The startup is well positioned to build its business operations with a 49% valuation appreciation to ₹110 crore and strong institutional investment from Optiscape Network Holdings, Homegrown Ventures, and Campus Fund. Traditional production processes and multi-channel distribution channels, including both direct-to-customer and quick-commerce channels, coupled with its own manufacturing power, further cement Gramiyaa’s standing in the fast-changing consumer market.
