Gnani.ai is a voice-first Generative AI startup that secured $4 million from early-stage VC firm Info Edge Ventures in its series A funding round. The startup plans to use this fresh capital to scale its operations, increase its sales, enhance its platform, advance technologies, and expand its network globally while developing its market presence. The funding round had the participation of existing investor Samsung Ventures.This Generative AI startup is co-founded by Ganesh Gopalan and Ananth Nagaraj to offer innovative generative AI solutions.

Gnan.ai provides a voice-first platform with multiple product capabilities, such as omnichannel conversational automation, voice biometrics, omnichannel analytics, and agent assist. The users do not require any coding skills to access these features. This AI platform creates and deploys highly intelligent and secure virtual assistants and chatbots. The CEO and co-founder of Gnan.ai, Ganesh Gopalan, told ET in an interview that the startup has over 100 clients across India and the US.

The company mainly focuses on two regions, and it plans to expand its services into the Middle East and Europe through its partnership. The company has secured around $8 million across multiple funding rounds since its inception. The firm aims to transform the experience of its customers across the globe using various Gen AI technologies. The platform has a patented proprietary tech stack for natural Language processing, augmented intelligence, text-to-speech, and speech-to-text that works for more than 14 Indian languages, including English. The startup recently announced a Voice-first artificial intelligence small language model that targets the banking, insurance, and retail segments. The company competes with other gen AI startups in this sector, such as Observe.AI, Verint, and Qualyon.

Gnani reported two times more growth and profitability in the last three years. The company expects a two to three times increase in its revenue in the next two years. The startup plans to expand its customer base and strengthen its position in the US and Indian Gen AI markets. The partner at Info Edge, Chinmaya Sharma, showed excitement about working with the startup and mentioned that the company’s thesis for artificial intelligence aligns with Gnan. The development came just when the Generative AI sector got quick interest from investors in the Indian startup ecosystem. The Generative AI market is predicted to grow more by the end of 2030.
