Kumar said in an interview with GNT that he always wanted to do something big and make a name for himself by doing something of his creation. The time had come for him to do something of his creation. He planned to start a taxi service in the city of Patna, and he started his company RodBez with a second-hand Tata Nano.

He was completely washed off from going places to attract investors to invest in his venture, but he was unlucky. After months of struggle and failure, he got investors who were ready to invest in his business. He managed to attract investment funds worth $50k for his project.

Kumar’s journey has been accelerating since then, and there have been no lookbacks. Kumar’s RodBez is a unique startup with a different approach than industry giants Ola and Uber. RodBez is a taxi service that connects customers with taxi drivers and provides taxi service to people for outstation travel of more than 50 kilometers. Currently, the company is providing services only in Bihar with Patna being the center of the service, but the company wishes to start services outside Bihar soon.
