Engineering solutions company Axiscades Technologies has won a major contract for the supply of Man Portable Counter Drone Systems (MPCDS) to the Indian army. Axiscades targets to deliver all of them by the year 2024.
Man Portable Counter Drone System (MPCDS)
The Man Portable Counter Drone System (MPCDS) is provided by Axiscades. It is sophisticated technology aimed at sighting and eliminating drones. The MPCDS can work only up to the distance of five kilometers. It is designed to be able to operate from battery power as well as the main electric power supply.
MPCDS is the first counter-drone system entering the Indian Defence forces in the man-portable category. The system is planned to be installed in several places within different commands of the Indian Army.
