InstaAstro, a Noida-based B2C Astrotech startup, has raised $2.30 million in a pre-series A funding round led by Artha Venture Fund. Other investors who participated in the round are LongX Ventures, IR Capital Partners, Singularity Ventures, Blume Founders Fund, and Aloke Bajpai, Ixigo’s managing director and CEO. This startup plans to expand its market globally and build its brand presence across southern areas by deploying fresh proceeds to get new talents. InstaAstro is an B2C astrotech platform founded  by Nitin Verma in 2021. InstaAstro offers an online platform for astrology reading, live chat or call sessions with astrologers, and tarot card reading. The founder of InstaAstro, Nitin Verma, mentioned that their ARR achievement and being treated as a trusted company by investors is exhilarating.  The startup introduced its new services and showed confidence in expanding globally to connect with spiritual seekers worldwide. 

Anirudh A Damani, a managing partner of Artha Venture, one of the most prominent investors of InstaAstro, mentioned that astrology is an area of interest across economic classes. Instaastro has already established itself in the astrology market by offering affordable access and reliable information to  its customers. With the growing astrology market in the world, InstaAstro differentiates itself with its offerings, which are reflected in the rapid yet sustainable growth of its revenues. Artha Venture Fund has been backing InstaAstro for the past 3 years. InstaAstro secured seed funding of $426k in 2021, led by  Artha Venture Fund.  

Last year, the Indian religious and spiritual market had a value of $58.56 billion, EMR reports. The astrology sector is predicted to grow at a CAGR of 10% from 2024 to 2032; it is expected to reach over  $150 billion by 2032. This Noida-based startup directly competes with other known astrology platforms, including Astrotalk and Astroyogi. The startup plans to introduce its new e-commerce and  Reiki healing services, enhancing its services. The platform is available in many regional and global languages and boasts over 5 million users. The startup reported in FY24 that they have provided over 20  million minutes of consultation through its 1500 astrologers.
