The online gaming market inside the country is continuing to develop, and it is anticipated to increase to $5 billion by the year 2025. This growth comes as the gaming space continues to evolve and as new companies enter the business.

The online retail behemoth Amazon has finally and secretly introduced its Prime Gaming membership service in India, despite the widespread speculation that it is likely to do so in the near future. In addition to providing consumers with access to a variety of games for mobile devices, personal computers, and Mac computers, Prime Gaming is included as part of Amazon Prime. In addition to that, subscribers will have access to a variety of in-game stuff, such as weapons, characters, skins, boosters, and so on.

The website says that Prime Gaming has games like Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0, FIFA 23, League of Legends, DeathLoop, and many more. Prime users get access to the Prime gaming service, which comes with a yearly package that costs around 1,499 Indian rupees (INR).

It was previously reported that the e-commerce giant was intending to launch in India around a week before it was officially announced that the Prime Gaming service would launch in India. According to the sources, the announcement came about a week after the initial report. At the time, it was said that the Prime Gaming service’s webpage was up and running in India. However, as soon as users logged in to check, the platform went offline. Now, at long last, Prime Gaming has successfully established its presence within the nation. Two years have passed since the e-commerce giant first introduced its mobile gaming service in the country. That service offered a lot of free in-game content, such as the ability to collect characters, get upgrades, and use other features. The new service is being introduced now.

At the “Game Awards” earlier this month, Amazon presented a new massively multiplayer online (MMO) game with an anime aesthetic that will be titled “Blue Protocol.” The game is slated to be released in the second half of the following year.

According to The Verge, Bandai Namco is the company responsible for the game’s development, and it will be available for purchase on the PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC platforms.

The game is referred to as a multiplayer action role-playing game (RPG), and it enables players to assume a variety of personas while engaging in either the single-player story mode or the online multiplayer mode.
