CapGrid secured ₹46.28 crore in a pre-Series B funding round led by Hero Enterprise Partners Ventures
SUMMARY
CapGrid is a B2B manufacturing startup. CapGrid has raised ₹46.28 crore (approximately $4.87 million) in a pre-Series B funding round. This new round of funding was led by new investor Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures. Existing investors like Nexus Venture Partners and Anicut Capital were actively engaged in the round. This new infusion of capital marks another step for the company in establishing itself as a significant force in the manufacturing technology sector.
Growth trajectory and post-money valuation
According to the regulatory filings accessed by Entrackr, the regulatory board at CapGrid passed a special resolution approving the issuance of 2,888 compulsorily convertible preference shares by CapGrid with an issue price of ₹1,60,263 per share. Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures led the round with its substantial investment of ₹38.30 crore.
The rest of the capital allocation includes ₹3 crore each from Axilor Technology Fund and Anicut Capital and ₹1 crore each from Nexus Venture Partners and Amit Jain. CapGrid saw a significant rise in its financial valuation owing to high confidence among investors and business growth.
According to entrackr estimates, the company’s post-money worth increased by more than 50% to ₹430 crore (approximately $46 million) from the valuation achieved in its earlier funding round, where Anicut Capital led the tie-up in February 2025, with an investment of $5 million. This valuation premium reflects CapGrid’s strong market position and its growth over the shorter timeframe.
Ongoing expansion and foundation
After completing the pre-Series B share allotment, the ownership structure of the enterprise features a balanced allocation. With the largest external shareholding, Nexus Venture Partners held 18.08%. Anicut Capital, with a stake of 16.40%, and Axilor Ventures, with an 11.94% stake, follow closely.
Dheeraj Kumar Tiwari and Himanshu Singh Raghuvanshi, the co-founders, each constitute 18.63% of the company’s stake. The regulatory filings state that CapGrid intends to use the newly raised funds to support its continuing growth and expansion plans and meet all of its remaining capital needs.
CapGrid was founded in July 2020 by Dheeraj Kumar Tiwari and Himanshu Singh Raghuvanshi, and is an AI-powered platform. The company operates across a broad base of critical industries such as automotive, agricultural equipment, earthmoving equipment, aerospace, oil & gas, consumer durables, and electric vehicles.
The startup has proven itself to be operationally dynamic, but has not yet released any fiscal 2026 financial disclosures. The company’s operating revenue has experienced a significant increase, rising from ₹99.2 crore in FY2024 to ₹209 crore in FY2025, a growth rate of 2.1 times.
However, during the same fiscal year, the firm’s net loss was reduced marginally to ₹25.92 crore, reflecting a steadily evolving track record of financial and operational efficiency as it expands its business.
Conclusion
CapGrid has already closed its pre-Series B round with a 50% premium to its valuation, demonstrating the market demand and investor enthusiasm for AI-powered B2B manufacturing platforms. With strong new and existing investors, including Hero Enterprise Partner Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners, and growth in operating revenue, the startup is poised for major future expansion and to address its anticipated strategic capital needs while expanding the business in the automotive, electric vehicle, and industrial markets.
