Indic Wisdom funding of $530K from Satin Growth Alternatives Limited

SUMMARY

Indic Wisdom is a leading women-led enterprise that manufactures traditional, healthy food products, including wood-pressed oils. Indic Wisdom has raised $530K (approximately ₹5 crore) in a new growth funding round. The transaction is Satin Growth Alternatives Limited’s (SGAL) first investment. It has been a subsidiary of Satin Creditcare Network Limited (SCNL). The transaction was completed on September 9, 2026, and marked the first transaction closed under the recently opened Category II Alternative Investment Fund managed by SGAL.

Core operations and strategic structure

The deal is crafted with a mix of quasi-debt and equity-linked securities, which include Non-Convertible Debentures (NCDs) and Compulsorily Convertible Preference Shares (CCPS). It is a strategic structuring that was developed in close coordination between the investment team at SGAL and the investment team of Indic Wisdom (Prajakta Khare, Kaustubh Khare).

This dual instrument approach is able to offer necessary safeguards against losses as well as open the door for SGAL to be a part of the future equity upside growth of the business as it continues to build market share across India.

Indic Wisdom has established itself firmly in the functional food and wellness market with a strong focus on harvesting high-quality oilseeds and converting food by-products by sustainable methods into added-value proteins and fibres. The company has built solid financial momentum since it drastically doubled its annual revenue year-over-year.

The brand has established a strong distribution network in major e-commerce and quick commerce platforms, ensuring products are accessible in the largest cities of India. The fresh capital infusion of $530K will be dedicated to scaling the manufacturing equipment and capacity of Indic Wisdom.

The growing manufacturing capacity will enable significant growth for an offline retail effort, thereby improving the overall supply chain to better serve consumer demands. This $20 million investment will drive rapid growth in the company’s trajectory for the annual spend of $200 million in ARR in the upcoming 12 months, said founder Prajakta Khare.

Strategic impact and investor emphasis

The first deal aligns directly with the company’s primary investment objective: allocating growth-stage capital to sustainable, high-potential businesses. Aditi Singh, Director, SGAL & Chief Strategy Officer, SCNL, noted that it was a strong conviction decision as it is an innovative project for upcycling oilseeds and has been executed successfully through multiple channels, both online and offline.

The investment will allow the founders to scale their operating capacity efficiently, aligning with their next stage of company expansion. SGAL expects to augment the distribution reach of Indic Wisdom through its own extensive branch network and geographical footprint provided by Satin Creditcare Network Limited, thereby fueling additional top-line growth.

SGAL Fund Manager and Partner, Shivika Sethi, noted that the utilization of quasi-debt and equity-linked tools is an excellent example of the fund’s policy of supporting high-growth businesses with structured risk management. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, social impact, financial inclusion, and India’s economic growth experience.

Conclusion

Indic Wisdom’s $530K raise in the first funding round of the new fund demonstrates investors’ faith in sustainable food manufacturing and farm upcycling businesses. Indic Wisdom is set to grow its market share in the wellness food sector by having a clear roadmap towards growing manufacturing capacity, increasing offline retail presence, and a network of banks allowed to buy food online across India.

The partnership between SGAL and Indic Wisdom positions both parties for long-term success in their respective sectors, offering new value-added services and consistent growth as the company pursues its ambitious targeted revenue goal of ₹200 crore on a yearly basis over the next 12 months.
