Genspark is an Artificial intelligence-based search engine startup that has secured around $60 million in its seed funding round, led by VC fund Launch Venture. The startup aims to challenge Google’s position in the search market. This AI startup raised the funding with zero revenue at a valuation of 260 million USD. Genspark claims to use a variety of artificial intelligence models in its search engine to index and summarize information. The platform aims to provide accurate and useless page information using multiple specialized AI agents to generate customized pages with every query and new page. The company plans to use these fresh proceeds on market expansion, advancing its technology, scaling up its operations, and developing more innovative AI solutions. This AI search startup focuses on expanding in the U.S. market and plans to introduce a paid subscription service. 

The amount raised during this seed funding round will be used to develop more advanced Artificial intelligence solutions, expand the market, increase the performing AI capability, and enhance the platform. Genspark will also invest in its R&D infrastructure to find a solution and offer faster and more affordable systems with seamless experience. The co-founder of Genspark, Eric Jing, mentioned that the platform delivers high-quality information with high authority to its users by using a more surgical approach. He also highlighted that the user wants trustworthy and visual results for their searches, and Genspark uses AI to meet all those demands.  

This funding round came just after the search engine market was experiencing growth and competition with new AI models that gather and access more accurate information online. Many other search engines aim to challenge Google’s search engine, including Perplexity, which is looking to raise additional funds, and You.com, which has secured $50 million for the second time for its fundraising round.
